Nina Armstrong, LHMCA (She/Her)

Nina is a WA State Mental Health Counselor Associate and DBT Eastside Extern specializing in therapy for adolescents, young adults, and families. She holds a Masters of Arts Counseling from Seattle University and brings over a decade of experience supporting youth in their mental health journeys. In addition to training as a mental health counselor, Nina also brings experience as an educator and school counselor to her work with school-aged individuals. Nina assists clients dealing with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, burnout/chronic stress, family conflict, and executive functioning. Her therapeutic approach primarily integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and schema theory, though she believes in tailoring the therapeutic experience to each client's unique history and needs. Nina is passionate about using evidence-based practices to walk alongside her clients as they build a meaningful and compassion-filled life.

Nina offers a hybrid of in person and telehealth sessions.
